Cottage Estimating Services provide a formal quotation for each and every estimate. By doing this our valued client knows exactly what their costs will be and can allow for these in their building budgets.
Note: The more information we have from our clients the more accurate the quotation. Cottage Estimating Services is aware that sometimes documents may not be available, in that case we will include those items in the estimation based on current building standards and our extensive experience on projects of a similar nature to provide documentation for these items.

Our fees are based on the size and type of project you need estimating services for.

- Trade Take-off
- Merchant / Building material supplier quantity Take-off
Documentation Required for:
Preliminary Estimates
Full Estimates / Quantity Take-offs
- Sketch plans
- Site plan
- Soil tests
- Construction plans including all elevations, sections, detail, and other relative drawings
- Engineering (if available)
- Electrical & Hydraulic plans
- Colour selections
- Soil test reports
- Any other documentation the client wishes to include on any project specific items
Process:
Quotations for standard services only, are usually provided the same day we receive your email with the attached information, providing it is received during business hours. If you require any extra services, these can be discussed upon receipt of your quotation request.
Upon approval of the quotation, the estimates can be turned around within approximately 1 day for take-off estimates and 3-5 days for full estimates. Please note, these time frames depend on the services selected and if all required documentation has been received.

We also have a standard estimating project form which states exactly what services you have requested and to what extent you requested the work to progress to, this is completed after acceptance of the quotation.
